2026 will mark the 20th anniversary of Operation Amped. That’s a BIG DEAL! While each of us involved in the progression of Operation Amped over the years as brought our particular talents and contributions, we’ve also mostly seen ourselves as “just a bunch of surfers.” Well, not bad for just a bunch of surfers. Let’s celebrate!  It’s a privilege for me to lead the effort to recognize the people and achievements of Operation Amped over the past 20 years.  My vision is to have a gathering for volunteers, past and present, based on input from as many people as possible – I would love for everyone there to see some of themselves in the event, just as Operation Amped itself reflects each of us who has shown up and participated.

 

To start gathering input on how and what this event could be, I am asking for replies to a few open-ended questions.  They are intentionally open-ended, I don’t want to limit ideas at this point.  Please give yourself time to consider your answers.
