Operation Amped — 19th Annual Gathering

October 3–5, 2026 | Camp Pendleton

The weekend of October 3–5, 2025 marked the 19th annual gathering of Operation Amped. Volunteers and honored participants arrived Friday to build basecamp and kick off a weekend rooted in connection, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to spreading the stoke of surfing with those who have served. From hardest chargers and biggest wipeouts to longest rides, most improved surfing, and—most importantly—the aloha spirit, nearly 100 members of our community came together on the storied shores of Camp Pendleton to support one another.

The beauty of this annual event is the stoke itself: sharing the joy and therapeutic power of the ocean and beach, talking story, camping under the stars, doughboys (IYKYK), live music, and so much more.

Operation Amped continues to thrive as an all-volunteer organization, fueled entirely by community.

Talking story, sharing meals, and camping under the stars — the stoke doesn’t end when the sun goes down.

As we stand on the threshold of 20 years, it’s clear this nonprofit would not exist without the volunteers, donors, and sponsors who have grown alongside it. 2026 marks our 20th year—and we’re looking ahead with gratitude and excitement to surfing those who served for decades to come.
